Revolutionary Greetings Sisters and Brothers!

Trust me when I tell you that I never thought the Enid Prison Slavery in Texas- Campaign would transform into a MOVEMENT and garner the attention that it has–especially recently.

On April 15th, 2016 the Texas Department of Criminal Justice which operates over 110 facilities throughout Texas enacted a policy which prohibits prisoners from posting any information about themselves, their case, or any other kind of information on Social Media!

Now this in of itself is an open attack on the U.S. Constitution, which protects the Free Speech Rights even of prisoners. This is kind of strange because we constantly hear Texas politicians like Senator Ted Cruz and current Texas Governor Gregg Abbott bragging about being upholders and protectors of the Rights contained within the U.S. constitution. More and more we are seeing that in Texas, prisoners are not considered human beings let alone citizens. Let’s face it, social media sites like Facebook and Twitter have been around awhile but it wasn’t until prisoners like myself started exposing to the world injustices and abuses which occur daily inside Texas Prisons that social media became a problem. Why is that?

We must understand that with the help of the Industrial Workers of the World and the Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee, the End Prison Slavery in Texas Campaign is morphing into an “End Prison Slavery in Amerika”—Movement!!

This Movement seeks to take the profit out of incarceration and liberate hundreds of thousands of humyn beings trapped inside the Modern Day Slave Camps and Gulags in Amerika.

What is remarkable about T.D.C.J.’s new policy change and attack on Free Speech is that Texas does not just seek to silence prisoners held in their prisons. T.D.C.J. wants to silence the voices of third parties who may be family members and loved ones of prisoners and who may post any supportive message or other information about any prisoner currently housed in prisons operated by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

I would think that the A.C.L.U. and the Center for Constitutional Rights in New York City would be very interested in this recent move by the ultra-oppressive T.D.C.J. Although I am not sure they will be interested at all. For the past 3 years, I have watched and read report after report made by my Minister of Defense Kevin ‘Rashid’ Johnson. Reports which exposed prisoner abuse and in some cases murder of prisoners by employees at the Bill Clements Unit located in Amarillo, TEXAS

No News Conferences!!! No Policy Changes!!! Nothing done at all in order to protect the lives of prisoners housed on that abusive unit. So if the MURDER of prisoners doesn’t generate much “BUZZ” then why all of a sudden is Social Media postings such a big deal?

Sisters and Brothers, I want you to know and understand that the T.D.C.J. Executive Director Brad Livingston has been conspiring with the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. They sat down in order to craft a policy that would disrupt and possibly silence my voice and the voices of a growing number of Freedom Fighters both male and female who cry out for Freedom, Justice, and Equality inside Texas Prisons.

Let me tell you something: The Federal Authorities have got their sights on Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. He has engaged in criminal activity and deceptive business practice and I’ve got news for you folks, when the FEDS get in your ‘Business’ you’ve got problems. So don’t think for one minute that Ken Paxton won’t try to circumvent or usurp the U.S. Constitution in order to protect the CASH COW that is Texas Correctional Industries. See that is what this recent policy change is all about. I’ve been working overtime in order to expose the ultra-corrupt corporate enterprise known as T.C.I.

So, T.D.C.J. has a corporation called Texas Correctional Industries (T.C.I.) which makes millions of dollars off the backs of Slave Prison Laborers. T.C.I. is traded on the New York Stock Exchange. The oppressors who run the Texas Government have attached a numeric monetary value to prisoners who work in these so-called ‘Factories’ across Texas.

The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles which is a State Agency full of cronies of the current Governor do not have a vested interest in the freedom or future success of Texas Prisoners, on the contrary, the Governor appointed Parole Board Commissioners have an interest in protecting the profits gleaned from prison labor!!!

Now here is a challenge to media correspondents and investigative journalists everywhere: Find out who sits on the Board of Directors of T.C.I. and find out who are the most prominent shareholders of the stock traded on the Stock Exchange and watch for any sudden movements to trade or sell because some individuals might not want the public at large to know they are benefitting from Slave Labor in Texas Prisons.

You see Sisters and Brothers, I am one of the leading voices who are attempting to dismantle and shed a strobe light on the Slave Empire in Texas. The new policy by T.D.C.J. is a Reactionary Move oy the oppressor it serves to do a few things:

  1. Keep the Public Blind
  2. Protect Profits by any means necessary
  3. Stop this Movement and Silence my VOICE!!

Without a doubt, T.D.C.J. spokesperson Jason Clark will play the ‘security card’ when asked about the new policy change but it is deeper than that. Ask Clark about Slave Labor, Profits, Corruption, and the mistreatment and abuse of prisoners in Texas and watch him squirm.

At this juncture, my main request is that you openly defy T.D.C.J. and share this essay and any other essay I write on any Social Media site and Media Outlet you can. Free Speech is a human right!!!

Dare to struggle, Dare to win, All Power to the people!!!

-Comrade Malik
